Hello Fellow Marketer,
Looking at the below photo of my workstation, I can see how it lacks warmth and personality. The upside, however, is that I’ve honed my systems for efficiency. I can do good work, finish it faster, then depart to cozier surroundings :)
I’ve numbered 3 things that to me are helpful:
1) Nearby shelves hold active projects in neat piles and I can grab what’s needed.
2) I love how stackable trays save desk space. One bin here, for example, is labeled “suppliers active” and holds info for assorted ongoing vendor tasks.
3) My surfaces are uncluttered. The conceptual brain works by comparing and contrasting, which is difficult to do flipping through computer document pages. I often spread out printed client reference to help me identify strategic opportunities.
